After fostering a wildly successful influencing career since 17 — amassing over 15 million followers on TikTok and 1.2 million on Instagram to date — 22-year-old Virginia native Bailey Spinn is proving herself to be a searingly relatable songwriter and singer. Since venturing onto the scene in 2022 by uploading covers on YouTube, Spinn has captured a rapt audience with her stark confessional songwriting and cathartic rock melodies as seen on her 2023 debut EP, my worst enemy. Inspired by the vulnerable pop-rock of the early 2000s pioneered by bands like Evanescence, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne, Spinn weaves tales of heartbreak and resilience with an abundance of self-awareness and wit.
